Alternative Dispute Resolution
Aidan Partners is involved in arbitration as well as other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) initiatives such as mediation on behalf of its clients. The head of our ADR team is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK Branch) who has led teams to appear before Tribunals both in Nigeria and internationally. We have represented clients in disputes involving telecommunications, product design contracts, share options, oil and gas supply agreements, petroleum and mineral resources, international trade before arbitral tribunals such as the ICC, LCIA, LMDC and the LCA.
Our involvement in the ADR process starts with finalising the best "midnight clauses" in Agreements, through to advising on contracts and the commencement or defence of disputes.
We strive to resolve disputes as swiftly as possible with minimum disruption to business relationships, least loss of finance and time to our esteemed clients.
Litigation
Over years we have honed our skills as litigators and negotiators and have consequently enjoyed a high level of success in majority of the cases we have been instructed to either prosecute or defend. We regularly appear before courts of records in Nigeria, England and Wales in matters involving both private and public clients.
